Date: Thursday 22 March 2018
Location: The Old Cinema, 160 Chiswick High Road, London W4 1PR
.: At this unique tasting event, Master of Wine Liam Steevenson and celebrated drinks writer Fiona Beckett will address our changing relationship with alcohol and discuss what this means for the future of the trade.
.: Attendees will explore how alcohol shapes the character of a wine, tasting examples from cooler climate regions that are naturally lower in alcohol, as well as those lighter in style because of choices made by the vineyard and winery.
.: There will also be examples from the other end of the spectrum - full-bodied bottles from regions known for high alcohol levels and celebrated for power, as well as poise.
.: Hosted among the treasures and antiques in Chiswick landmark The Old Cinema, this is an event concerned with stirring conversations as much as swirling wine glasses.
Tête À Tête: Tête à Tête is a new event series designed to inspire conversations on wine and drinking culture. It is devised by Master of Wine Liam Steevenson, in collaboration with friends and colleagues from across the trade and hosted by Borough Wines & Beers.
